Since I learned about all the benefits of adaptogens, I try to incorporate them into my diet any chance I get. For this recipe, I used Root & Bones Chaga mushroom.

Chaga is a medicinal mushroom that has strong immune enhancing properties, high levels of antioxidants and exhibits anti-viral properties. It is known historically as the “King of Plants” and lives up to its name by being an amazing adaptogenic health and longevity tonic full of phytonutrients that slow the aging process. NO BAKE CHAGA ENERGY BALLS

PREP TIME: 15 MINS
COOK TIME: 10 MINS
SERVES: 10   
 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup of pitted dates 
  • 1/2 cup of raw walnuts 
  • 2 tablespoons of Root & Bones Chaga
  • 2 tablespoons of raw cacao
  • 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar*
  • Shredded coconut*

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse until you have a sticky mixture.
  2. Add more coconut oil if it is too dry.
  3. Roll into balls and sprinkle some shredded coconut. Store in fridge.

 NOTES

*optional, you can use any sweetner of your choice
